We have been trying to introduce solid food into Charlie's diet. This morning we started with prunes, one of his cousin, Bryonie's, favorites.
Voices live in every finite being,
Often undivined, near silence.
Hear them!
Hear them in you! in others!
They sense truth deep in all life;
They know the things true Pilgrims stand for.
Stand out!
Come to Him without the things the world brings;
Come to Him!
As a child and as a poor man.
He had all. He gave all.

Interesting choice!! He doesn't look to upset about it though, maybe ti will become a favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love the succession of photos. :-)
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog. What a cutie you have there! Welcome to motherhood and the blogesphere!
ReplyDeleteWe had a hard time with first foods! Ezra only wanted avocados...so that's what he got for a month or two. ;) I love how chubby Charlies cheeks are!
ReplyDeleteI've heard avocado now from several people. I'll have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteKjerste, just looked up your blog...wow! So fun to see your kiddos, and I'm trying not to be embarrassed by my elementary knitting projects. Don't worry, I'll survive. ; )
