Voices live in every finite being,
Often undivined, near silence.
Hear them!
Hear them in you! in others!
They sense truth deep in all life;
They know the things true Pilgrims stand for.
Stand out!
Come to Him without the things the world brings;
Come to Him!
As a child and as a poor man.
He had all. He gave all.

"My life flows on in endless song above earth's lamentation"

A few new snapshots of our daily progress...

Though not terribly comfortable keeping himself upright, Charlie is becoming a more independent sitter. Whether it be in his seat or jumper I now feel free to let him alone to figure things out. I love watching him notice things, concentrate on them and reach for them.

Whenever he wears this nightgown the nursery rhyme Wee Willy Winkie always come to mind.

Lately, I have been experimenting with our Moby Wrap.

This is called the "Lotus Position." I found it as unsuccessful and uncomfortable as it looks here, especially due to the fact that Charlie was likely to fall asleep during our walks, dropping his head forward rather unstably.

But it made for a couple fun photos.

Only in the last couple of days Charlie has started getting the hang of his jumper. In fact, he's now moving around so much in it that it's hard to get a decent picture.

The late afternoon calm before the storm...

I took this picture last night after Charlie got home from work. This moment is one of my favorites of the day.
